The School Zone

Hello Parents,

My name is Keith Schumacher, and I am an exploratory teacher at Mira Loma Middle School in the Jurupa Unified School District.  Each school year will bring new challenges and changes to all of the classes at MLMS.  The exploratory course I teach at Mira Loma is titled Personal and Social Responsibility (or PSR class).  I will be teaching units and lessons developed over the last 20+ years to teach independence, responsibility, and good decision-making.  Students will gain new perspectives on how being productive and successful now will set the stage for success throughout their lives.

Besides being an Exploratory teacher, I teach two other classes.  I am the staff facilitator/teacher for our Video Production class.  Every morning, students in this class create a live Video broadcast of the morning announcements, Mountain Lion Talk in the Morning.  I also teach a section of 7th grade AVID.  More information about those programs can be found above 

For my classes, I will use the Homework Connection forums of the school website to post assignments and helpful hints to guide students in completing  school work.
